Do e-cigarettes cause seizures? The U.S. Food and Drug Administration thinks there may be a link. The FDA announced recently that they are investigating reports of individuals, specifically teens and young adults, having seizures after using e-cigarettes. The FDA found at least 35 reported cases of seizures in e-cigarette users between 2010 and early this year.
A social services nonprofit and its subcontractor are being accused in court of negligently reunifying minor children in the home of their father, an accused sexual predator. The complaint alleges that Eckerd Youth Alternative Inc., known as Eckerd Kids, and the Devereux Foundation, never informed the Judge of the results of the background check on the children’s father before allowing unsupervised visits and reunification.
